Marché aux Vins 2010

The local sports palace is the venue for this wine market and well before it opens its doors on friday afternoon, four sharp, the crowds are already cueing.
More than 60 producers from Côte Rôtie, Condrieu and other appellations from the northern Rhône valley have their stand at the Marché aux Vins. From Friday till Sunday the vintages currently on sale are presented (2007 for reds and 2008 for whites). Monday is traditionally the day when cask samples from the latest vintage are shown. And here as well, expectations for the 2009 vintage are high.
