A pleasant red-fruit and quite acidic red wine from northern Italy, made from Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara grape varieties. Often with a characteristic almond bitterness. No wood ageing and mostly to be drunk young. Wines from comparable grape varieties from northern Italy also belong to this category.
