Top class red wines from Tuscany, mainly from the Cabernet Sauvignon grape. Made in a Bordeaux style, complex, with wood ageing and dark fruit notes. Somewhat more supple than comparable top red Bordeaux. Young: fruit and oak overtones, fairly reserved. Ready to drink: supple tannins, rich and smooth but with lots of structure. Mature: earthy, compact and complex.
