A pleasant pale green white wine made from the Pinot Grigio grape, mostly from northern Italy. Significantly less perfumed than Alsace wines from the Pinot Gris grape. Has a dash of spiciness and medium acidity. Usually drunk young. Similar wines from the area are also included in this category.
