In 2005 four wine lovers came up with an idea that was born out of dissatisfaction: there was no place where we could find crisp, clear, honest information about wine. We decided to do something about it. And we’re pretty proud of what winewinewine.com has become and may become in the future. Eventually, the value of this site will be determined and created by you. The collection of your opinions, knowledge, experiences, and curiosity will make this place into the forum and community we envisioned three years ago. Now that we have you here, we would, of course, like to keep you here. To make that easier for you, we have developed a few handy gadgets.

Furthermore, Wine Cellar Online will link all available external data (like when best to drink a wine) via our database to your private cellar, which means a wealth of information in your corner. Last but not least, having your own wine cellar here will allow WineStein® to find the best pairing wine for the dish of your choice from your own cellar.

This website is powered by a database that will eventually contain most of the wines produced worldwide. Our database already includes the producers, vineyards, grape varieties, and geographical origins of almost 80,000 wines spanning about 400,000 vintages. Perhaps the most exciting new feature of this massive dataset is that all of the wines in our database are subject to "digital development:" yes, that’s right, all of our wines actually “age” in the database and their Wine DNA will change accordingly over time!
This may sound complicated, but all of this was designed from one, simple, core principle: to make things as easy as possible for you. After all, wine is difficult enough as it is.
